Romance is still alive, don't let anybody tell you otherwise.
I'm a reader, not a writer. I prefer stories that have well defined characters that I can care about, storylines and situations that go somewhere, and that have more than just fucking.
Nothing wrong with a quickie for getting your rocks off, but more often than not I'd like to get emotionally involved with the people I'm reading about.
(Don't worry too too much if your punctuation and homonyms aren't absolutely perfect. You're an amateur writer, nor a copy-editor. Just tell me an engaging story. Although, seriously, if your story description has errors .... )
