All my stories are based in truth - although the events I write about may be embellshed to make them more interesting and entertaining! Furthermore the things I describe may not have happened to me (although sometimes I wish they had) but could just be things I have been told about. I do get grumbles about the language I use sometimes... I was a professional chef and got many of my ideas and inspiration from my colleagues' experiences.
