Where I list a "Chapter 1" of anything as a "Favourite", assume the entire story or series gets my vote: these are the stories that over time, I have found to be worth reading more than once.

I've done a small amount of professional editing, having worked as a book designer for about 25 years - I enjoy editing and would like to help writers here improve their stories, but with several important provisos:

English first-language authors only;

Gay male, non-erotic, non-human, sci-fi and fantasy categories only;

Stories in which main characters are unfaithful are unlikely to hold my attention; and

I don't find rape, abuse, exploitation or violence either erotic or sexy, so if this is how you get your kicks, I'm not the editor for you.
