I write erotic fiction when I find myself blocked on other projects. I have probably a dozen books sitting in my brain at the moment, but I find that I'm less of a critic when there's lots of sex. Go figure. So erotica is a way for me to loosen up my creative inhibitions and suppress the impulse to tear apart what I produce.

Besides erotica, I like to read sci-fi, fantasy and the occasional thriller. My current writing interest seems to trend towards near-future stuff. I am a software developer and an avid reader of futurist websites and books, which obviously shapes a lot of my thoughts and predictions about the future.

I lean libertarian in my philosophy, which means no doubt that Some parts of my writing will piss off both edges of the traditional political spectrum. I am an optimist who believes that, notwithstanding some global calamity (something far faster and more deadly than global warming), we're all heading into an amazing future.

Chapter 10 of Double Helix has been submitted for publication to the site. Should be up early next week.

I've been toying with the idea of publishing this series on Kindle since I started it, and finally decided to go for it a few weeks ago. Besides fixing typos, I have sliced up the big chapters into 3500-5000 word bites, so about 2.5 chapters per one mega-chapter as posted here. I will also be editing content, since on this site, I erred on the side of more sex, and I have found a couple of minor continuity problems. I am still working on how I want to format, but will probably end up with a first book of about 80,000 words that ends with Tilly's recovery.

I'm enjoying writing my new series, Cybercock, which will probably go to about 4-5 chapters. I do want to explore the idea fully, but I think that the story has a nice, tight trajectory that will give it the length of a novella.
