For anyone enjoying Demon's Punish, I want to assure you that there are many more varied stories to come. I have 2 chapters (15k each) that I've been working on the side while waiting for the initial Ch.01 to get published. I also have a huge 4 book series I have been working on for the past two years that I was originally going to publish here, but I chickened out. I started Demon's Punish just as a fun excercise and to "safely" see if the stories I'm even more invested in would have a receptive audience. I'm very happy with the results of Ch. 01! It almost didn't happen. I submitted the original Ch. 01 three weeks ago and it got rejected for "smut", which was a blow to the gut for me. I almost dropped the idea and series, (which was when the sci-fi series started getting legs). Then like a knight in shining armor, I found Todger my editor and anti-smut detector!

It was a long slog, through the snow, uphill, with wolves nipping at my heels...but I finished! Now I need to proof it and get it to Todger (if he'll agree to edit it)

Has it really been 5 weeks? I needed a break, I think to reset and leap over an obstacle. I was torn about my decision to let Lavinia live because I think Piolin is a more interesting character. I was 3/4 of the way through chapter 3 when I couldn't resist the need to swap out those characters. 5 weeks later, I'm going forward with the original idea after all. I had to cut some old stuff, so I wrote 1100 words today, but since I cut like 200 that's why it's only a net increase of 700.

** I had a break through about how I want the rest of the novel to go. I went back and worked on making the second scene work better with the first and third ones.

** And to think I almost went to bed without writing. Sure glad I made myself hit my goal. I have a segue between the first and third scenes that I already wrote but I don't know if I will keep. So I ignored it and just wrapped up the third scene instead. I'm really happy with the first and third scenes.

** Working through the final two scenes from both ends. Should wrap up tomorrow. Then I'll need a day or two to re-edit and then a week or two for Todger to finalize it.

** I Decided to do an edit of everything so far. I ran through the ending in my head a few times, I think I like how it wraps up. Now I just need to write it up.

(Monday 02/22) - 9,080 words.

** Everything came together and the words just poured out of me. Wrapped up a huge scene, next up the first erotic scene of the chapter. This chapter is shaping up to be all about the Benjamin's.

(Sunday 02/21) - 5,515 words.

** It was hard to get going today. Still cranked out my quota. Time for bed.
