I was told I should have something here. I think it may give some context for what I write. I am a United States Marine. No longer in active or inactive service. While in Iraq I suffered extensive spinal damage. I have radiative nerve and multiple disc damage. I need a cane to get around any further than around the house. A couple of my doctors have said it might have been better if my back had just broken. Thanks doc. My mind is breaking. My hyper vigilance is crippling. My constant fight or flight reactions are keeping a slow trickle of adrenaline in my system. This is not good for the body. I am fighting to keep my mind in order, to keep it elastic and utilized, properly stimulated. But with a shattered body there is only so much I can do. I can see and feel my mental faculties failing a little at a time. It makes me sad. |
