I was an underground comic book artist and author in my teens, a working guitarist singer in several bands from 1980-2002, and a special education teacher from 2000 until I retired in 2017. Now I like exploring the backroads and dirt trails in the southern California Mojave desert, hiking the San Gabriel mountains, and photographing all the wildlife I can. I’ve been married since 1986 to my best friend and love Vicki.
