I guess, if these stories display any interest of mine, it's the development of a slow realisation of erotic desire, especially in characters who may only just now be recognizing their attraction to the same sex. I also like the, sort of, "chance encounter" aspect-of doing something naughty, risky, but having a safe place in which to be allowed to explore the fantasy. A lot of the "awakening desire" stories I find seem to involve a character being forced into a situation, and then eventually getting off on it. I don't like that. Everyone should get control of their own sexuality. Besides, it just seems so much sexier to me when the character asks for it, or at least willingly opens herself up to enjoy the opportunity.
