Things you might want to know about my submissions: First, I think I should have spelled my user name maxIcue to clarify its meaning. Or Max-IQ, though the phallic I in the former brings out the double meaning in the name (i.e long cue stick) I meant the IQ thing to be ironic because I think I came out badly when tested. Maybe deserved, I don't know. But it also suggests some smart ass writing which I attempt from time to time. Secondly, I tend to attach the name Joe Solomon to my hero for most stories. He's not the same character. I use the name to signify a sort of everyman, with Joe being one of the most common names in the world (albeit with different spellings). His family name comes from Solo Man, as in we're all out there alone within our bodies and heads. Finally, I tend to focus my stories in the world of art and entertainment, whether in film, writing, theater, dance or visual arts. I think this comes from the whole fantasy thing with erotic fiction. In my fantasy world, I am a success as an artist of any or all the forms listed above. --max |
