Born in inner London, brought up in a large, semi suburban village at the edge of the Surrey Hills, I worked in a Local Authority planng office until my brain gave up when I was in my late 50s. Once an active walker and caver, but no longer fit enough, I spend more time reading on this another site than anything else. I joined to post my own storie but still have not written anything worth posting.
