I am a heteroflexible male -- most attracted to women, but open-minded to other sexual possibilities. I usually need some emotional connection before acting on any urges that I may feel. Perhaps, it's just trust issues I'm dealing with?

And so it is with the stories I read here — I want to relate to the characters — their thoughts, feelings, and motivations. I want a plot that builds toward a climax and resolves after, not just a play-by-play description of a sex act. I want context and I want to feel what is at risk. These are the basic must-haves for me.

I most enjoy stories that explore humorous and/or awkward moments that occur when people are in their most sexually vulnerable state, especially those stories with an unexpected twist. I want to know what is unique about the main characters and their situation. What went wrong? What were their challenges? How did they get past it? How did their inner thoughts and feelings change as this all happened? And, I love wondering how I might have reacted if it were me in their place? That's just how I am.
