01/25/17. My December update did not save to the profile for some reason, so here is the update for both months. I am hard at work on Volume 2, with 20 chapters written, but my prediction for release date was way off. I had to rewrite half of these chapters this month due to significant chronological and storyline errors. This is my first attempt at writing to a deadline, and as you can see (since the deadline is already past) that deadline was unrealistic. On a positive note I am taking a break from school until I finish Vol. 2, and I have quit my job so I can write full-time. So it is likely that Volume 2 will be up before next month's update.

11/13/16. I apologize to all those who were waiting for last month's update. I thought I had posted it here, but alas I did not. I currently have the first ten chapters of book 2 written, and I plan to finish it in December and January. The first draft of it should be posted here mid-January. I want to thank everyone who has sent me comments (both positive and negative) many of them have helped. Weekly updates are just unrealistic for me to do, but I will try to do a better job of leaving at least some form of update each month. Keep an eye out for the updated version of Champions 1 in early January, and thank you all for reading.

9/28/16. No progress.

8/16/16. Sadly nothing written since the last update. Struggling with mental issues that have my desire to do anything at an all time low. I'm just hoping the motivation will come back soon. There are still eight volumes left to be written, and ideas aren't the problem, I just can't seem to motivate myself to sit down and write...

7/09/16. Working about 40 hours a week and spending another 40+ on Masters coursework. Looks like it will be like this until the end of July. No writing so far, and it doesn't look promising for me to get any done before August.

6/25/16. Had to choose between writing and sleeping this week. I chose sleeping.

6/18/16. UPDATE: Too busy to write much this week. Sitting at 3 and 1/2 chapters written for Vol 2. Thankfully I'm not having issues with writers block, but between work and school even sleep is becoming scarce. Maybe next week will be better.

The Erotica Version is called "Awakening: Uncensored Edition", while the Non-Erotica Version is called "Awakening: Standard Edition". It is a MUCH better version of this story, but it is still the same story. I just cleaned up all the errors, streamlined the first four chapters, and I added some new content to the last two chapters that I originally planned to push to Vol 2, but decided to add to the end of this one. There is also a glossary (I pulled a lot of the lengthy descriptions out of the beginning of the book and put them here instead). Finally, I put one of the finished chapters from Vol 2 in the end. Just a little taste/tease of what I'm working on for the second volume. And thanks again for inspiring me to publish this story.

6/9/16. My Masters classes started back up this week, so not a lot of time for writing. The new content added to the ending is significant enough that I will have to re-release this final version here on Lit before I put out the first draft of Vol 2. But that will not be until about a week before Vol 2 is ready. If you can't wait that long...you can always go to Amazon and buy it. ;)

6/2/16. Rough draft for two chapters of Volume 2 complete. The rest is on hold while I clean up Volume 1 and prepare it for Kindle publishing. It has a few minor corrections and one Major revision that will affect Volume 2, so I will release an updated version of volume 1 here the week before I release the first draft of volume 2. If you can't wait that long you can always buy the Kindle edition, which should be available by the end of the month.

5/26/16. Champions Volume 1 is up and ready. Champions Volume 2 is in progress. However, the best estimate I can give you for its release is Winter 2016/Spring 2017.

I work full time and I am also a full-time Masters student (GI Bill) so I often have to choose between, writing my own story, consuming the excellent works of other authors on this site, or sleeping.

However, some of the authors on this site, despite being my favorites, would still get a nut / clit punch after I shook their hand for failing to keep all of us updated on, or even finish, a beloved series. So I will try to take time once a week to post an update of my series' status. And on that same note, I will NEVER continue this story somewhere else without continuing it here as well. If it were not for Literotica I would never have written this story, so no matter what else I may do with it, it will always belong here.
