I stand in awe at the imagination and arousal power of some of the hardcore smut on this site. I absolutely love it, but I can't write it. I tend to realism.
What makes writing for Literotica enjoyable for me is the freedom to write a story about real people and not have to back away or draw the curtain when they take off there clothes. Sex is too important for that.
I don't necessarily, however, write the sex scenes as masturbatory aids (although my email would suggest that at least some have worked in this regard). My sories are about sex, but also love and friendship. They go hand in hand.
I wish more mainstream stories didn't shy away from graphic sex. We are graphic about everything else, especially violence. It's not gratuitous sex I long for. It's just in general we lack an honest, straight-forward treatment of the subject in literature.
