So sorry for the delay! New story next week ok. It's crazy how life gets in the way. 11/1/16 ********************** I am not a writer by profession, but it is my favorite thing to do. All of my life I have always preferred writing, even in communicating with others. Writing gives you the time to think about what you're saying. And provides the opportunity to assess your true intent. I attempted to write my first novel at 12. It was hand written in a bound hardback journal and I was proud of it. But, when I shared it with those I respected most they gave me their brand of constructive criticism; which I only saw as criticism and dislike of my hard work. I threw it away and only fantasized about writing for many years. When I became an adult, I attempted to write on occasion, but never really made it past the 1000th word. This time has been different and the reception here has been beyond encouraging to say the least. "Who I Am" is not just my first shared work; it is my break through and the first born of my mind.
