After 47 years on the planet, I'm collecting my thoughts and will eventually relate the long version; but for now, I'll spin a metaphorical yarn just to give you the feel of where I'm coming from: Consider me as Magellan just leaving port. I have a vague objective, but truthfully, I'm not entirely sure what I'll find in my explorations, only that I have a restless spirit and that I want to travel as far and wide as I can and experience what I encounter in my wandering. I've already been some places, seen some things, done some things, and known many people. I know my limits and my strengths (e.g., as a sailor, I'm quite adept with ropes and knots), and trust that the balance will get me through.
