I have a background in retail, wholesale, volunteering, computer tech, database programming, HR, Finance, Upper Management but my dream has always been to be a writer.

Many of you have commented that you want my stories to continue. Please let me assure you that they will. In the past few months, my husband has been in and out of the hospital for extended stays and I have finally been able to get him settled in a care unit. Unfortunately, it is some 300 miles from where I am now, so I am in the process of selling our house to move closer to where he is, as well as traveling back and forth to check on his well-being. I expect for things to settle into a new normal by the end of June and be able to get back to my writing then. I can't thank you enough for your patience!

Update: I have now moved much closer to my husband. He is doing well, and I am beginning to settle into my new normal. I hope to be writing on a regular basis very soon. I can't begin to thank everyone for the kind messages sent my way. The outpouring of support has been heartwarming. July, 2017

Update 2.0: After surmounting a number of issues, I have now purchased a new home and will be moving over the next couple of weeks and then finally be in a position to write more regularly, without having to deal with living out of a suitcase, etc. Thank you yet again for your patience. Grim Update: I spent the second week of November in the hospital and at the culmination of procedures, tests and transfusions, the visit resulted in a diagnosis of stage four metastatic gastric cancer. While this is, in essence, a death sentence, I have decided to battle as aggressively against the cancer as it has seen fit to attack me. With unbelievable support from the cancer center, my treatment has been fast-tracked and I am determined to squeeze as much extra time as possible from the future. What this means for my writing, I cannot say. I do not intend to stop, though time will be more at a premium. I cannot promise I will be able to complete story lines, but I intend to do my best, as always with your incredible patience. And finally, to the trolls who have posted vile comments and sent even more vile feedback, one request. PLEASE DO NOT READ MY STORIES. I cannot possibly meet your concept of a proper posting timeline, nor would I want to. I write for quality, not speed. So do yourself a favor and don't read my words.
