I am a retired college computer science professor who is transitioning from technical writing to creative writing. My stories are less explicit than the work of many other authors that I read here. This reflects my belief that the erotic is truly of the mind and that our imaginations can lift us to greater erotic heights than can licking, thrusting and squirting. Of course, this is very much a matter of personal preference and, in order to respect others' preferences, I try to write a brief author's note to help readers with their expectations and whether to continue to read my work. Unfortunately I go through cycles of reading my own stuff and thinking, "That's gold", only to be followed by "Not so fast, Shakespeare." I'm sure I'm not the only one who experiences this. Having said that, I want to continue growing and improving as a writer and so I hope that readers can help me by providing thoughtful and constructive feedback. I thank you in advance for this. |
