There is too much seriousness in life. My whole life has been about drama. As one of my friends asked me recently "Did you ever think about how much energy you would have at the end of each day if there wasn't so much drama involved?" Amazingly he is still a good friend.. I like it when people call it as they see it. Being honest and open and not afraid to say what you think is the best attribute for a true friend. I have worked in Emergency Services for most of my adult life in one form or another. It is easy to poke fun at a group that I do know pretty intimately. That is why most of my stories are about Cops, Firefighters, Dispatchers and EMTs. However, I recently moved and have been able to hang around some of our other fine folk in uniform - uniforms of the camouflage variety. Our military boys and girls also deserve a great deal of respect - after all over the years their efforts have given us the ability to have a site like this to read. I?ve had a lot of fun with a couple of branches and hope to move on to all of them eventually. |
