I've only recently discovered how much of an erotic experience it is for me to write smut. I freelance as a writer of some very socially-acceptable content but blow off steam and secretly love this site.
Reading erotica is fantastic-- much, much more of a turn-on for me than watching or looking at porn and completely different from sex. Writing it took the experience to another level entirely and now I can't go back. The vividness of imagination and the dreams I have from doing this are more than worth it.
Plus, a ridiculous amount of people read these stories and it really works me up to think that my writing is having that effect on people.
