During the day, I work on serious books. On the weekends, I work on not-so-serious books. Although you'd probably think I'm sick of the sight of manuscripts by now, sometimes, I need a palate cleanser.
I find it's best to go filthy or go home. I usually vomit them out in one hit and never revisit. These palate cleansers are generally what I submit here. They basically clean the pipes to allow me to re-engage with the longer MS. I tend to write on disparate topics and of varying lengths and styles for this reason. Whatever strikes.

To be less cryptic: Yes, I am an author and yes, I am a copy editor, proofreader and development editor. I am not presently on the volunteer editors list, though I do edit smut for print publications from time to time.

Please stop sending me entire novel-length manuscripts, and asking me to edit them, folks. I appreciate the vote of confidence, really, but I genuinely don't have the time.
