Sex is one of the few universally shared human experiences. It binds us, it joins us. To deny it, to hide it, or to condemn it as immoral, is to denounce our very humanity.
Erotica is an exploration of ourselves. It can celebrate or demean, but it almost always affirms that the reader is not alone in their thoughts and desires. In the end, it affirms that we are not filthy deviants, that it will be okay.
In my stories, I seek to put some humanity in the characters. I like to explore their motivations and their emotions. The cheating boyfriend, the woman who submits to a stranger, the husband who shares his wife; they are all people who do surprising things for surprising reasons. The fun is to put yourself in their skin and in their head.
