At their core, my stories could not be more unrealistic if they were narrated by unicorns. And yet, I like to at least tip my hat to reality once in a while during the telling of the tale, which makes the fantasy all the better to me. Besides, nothing could possibly be more fantastical than me actually writing a second part to any of my one-chapter wonders. And will I ever finish them? Perhaps before the natural expansion of the sun consumes the Earth...
So anyway, read my poem "Slow Burn", which is still probably the strongest slice of writing I've done, and enjoy the first parts of many excellent epic works, all of which have the critics raving inside my head.
