I was born in Pittsburgh, attended college and graduate school, earning a B.A. Degree in English and Education and a Masters Degree.
I enjoy climbing mountains, my heightest being Mt. Whitney at just under 15,000 feet; hiking; sailing; and most outdoor activities.
I am a writer, having published some of my poetry; artist; and musician. I play the Irish whistle and Native American flutes.
I have travelled quite extensively in both the U.S. and abroad, mainly Ireland (I am Irish-Scottish.), Scotland, and the UK.
