I am 36yro female. I discovered my love of writing quite by accident when I was 28yr. I write to cleanse my mind, heart, and soul. I also write for praise and glory, I am a Leo. I have written short stories as well as poetry. I enjoy writing erotica and dark poetry the most. Although, I have been caught writing mushy love stuff more than once. I have won awards for my poetry and contests with my short stories. I have been published in zines and anthologies. I have never submitted my work for money. It’s not that I don’t think my work is good enough to make a buck or two. It’s just I’ve always been too attached to my creations to ‘pimp’ them out. A copy, or two, of the publication has always been enough to stroke my ego. If I had a goal it would be compile my writings and have a few books published that I could show off to friends and family. So, in my senile years I could rock in my rocker, have my grandchildren recite from my book, and remember the good ole days. |
