My writing career began in 1975 when I enlisted in the U.S. Navy as an Intelligence Specialist. It was in that capacity that I became a technical writer, producing input for fleet operation publications and current affairs reporting. I developed my journalism skills further in college, earning a B.A. in Communication and working as the Managing Editor of the university
