I was a professional aircraft pilot for many years, first in the RAF and later in civil flying - no, not as a London to Barcelona and return twice a day bus driver but something with a bit more adventure and some real flying to it. Like seven years with bush planes in the Sahara Desert, or a session with PBY5a Catalinas in the Bay of Bengal. I have plenty of time now to look back over my life and write about some of the things I did, and I hope they will be of interest to some folk.
I like to read stories where the author takes time to flesh out both the characters and the background, rather than the ones I think of as the Treble T's - They meet, They fuck, The end. My choice of favourite stories reflects this, though the list of my favourite authors changes from time to time as I trawl the pages of Literotica, looking for others who feel and write the same as I do. Any assistance in this would be gratefully received.
