Taking the line drawn
does it flower when touched?
Who is inside      a small box opens
and looking out is a face
comes out and watches the bodies
Strewn around the maelstrom That is Me
who can I devour next?
That craving never subsides!

I bay into the night
I throat in Mime
Place My hands around that neck

Move to the next      That hunger burns,
never subsides        Fires gleam as I move
Eyes Feral      and malevolent

and suddenly      on the silk carpet
flowing around her and hovering
are the silk worms
Weaving an intricate pattern and a wonderful covering

Who can see her cold
shivers       ripples        shudders rack her being
and Yet  her eyes rain down on Mine,
That look , that supplicant
Stopped in the Way

Free at last
