At the end of the bay
stands My house
waves breaking and sounding the surf

Raucous calls of the mouettes
resound
off the walls of My
Heart.

When the water container
is dipped
into the stream
Do you send me
your love slowly
as your hands touch
the water I will take?

One day mayhap
the water will
carry my message
upstream

Is that an impossibility?

I watch from afar
as you dip your fair hands
in and then raise

The Idea
that you are here
and yet across the bay
      what can I do

Shall the Tree
show you the leaves
I wove
and sent onwards
as little messages

Hoping      That day will dawn
