For thousands of years women ask the same question one time or another, "how do I look?" well, to those that matter, this poem will be the answer they seek.

 Compare'd compare'd so many before,
compare'd to women who've passed before.
I look indeed, and search them still,
by comparison I search and search them still.
Though you ask a dozen times ten fold,
"why dosth thou behold?"
The answer is this,
"To search the bleeding earth to see, no such
beauty as the beauty of thee."

I'll speak it again, to behold your blush.
The smile that gives wings to your blush.
To know you love me,
(I love you, also)
To know you'll hold me when my heart speaks true.
I'll speak again,
all this to you.
so open thine ears,
and listen clear,
my words are true,
I hold so dear.

"If you could see through my eyes,
you'd see love.
If you could know what I know,
you'd know us.
If life was just calling your name
as your eyes call me.
God would be home and we would be one for all."

Sing,
song,
sing me a song,
the song my heart sings.

To play the lyre,
and not the lie.
I'll lay in wait,
for the passion to freely break loose.

You've seen my soul a thousand times,
through years that add the gray in hair.
Through the tears that flowed,
and the fears we dared.
You've seen my heart tell you a thousand ways
and a thousand times.

No one will behold you as I do.
No one will know what beauty I see.
For beauty behold is in the eye of the beholder.
My eye beholds you.
Forever and ever,
so dare I say it all again, I say this to you.

"If you could see through my eyes,
you'd see love.
If you could know what I know,
you'd know us.
If life was just calling your name
as your eyes call me.
God would be home and we would be one for all."

Now come,
and share this night with me.
My arms ache for you.
