The inner voice calls you.
It's not your conscience,
Your conscience tries to stop you listening.

Inside where it's dark and true
And noone else knows it,
Is where the inner voice resides.

It speaks only when it's quiet and you are alone.

It forgives you.
It allows you.
It lets you.

It feeds you true freedom by the teaspoonful.

More would make you sick
And your conscience doesn't allow you to drink from the bottle.

But listening is addictive.
It gives you your best orgasms.
When you read something or notice something.
The inner voice calls and says:
Take Note!

This is something you know you want.
And you hate wanting it.
You think it's wrong.
And you bury your fingers.

The inner voice calls His name
As you arch your back.
You wish it wasn't true
But it is.

Cravings start from a taste of what is within.
The voice may whisper.
The voice may scream.
But either way,
Try as you might,
The voice is hard to ignore.

spoon full of sugar

"True freedom by the teaspoonful" - so adept.
