the sky overshadows
as the mien on His face rebels
How long can insouciance be what rests for repartee
Does the one even ken His mind
take what He oozes, then accept.
do they all want the same?
He has none to give
and none to ever send.
with a little nudge frowns, smiles cascade,
Turn lazily, watch the eyes
the half smirks as they think they know His wishes
and then the hesitation
as doubt creeps in
like a swollen cloud ,
over-reaching and filling
Be in kind ever, take
and turn it over ,
Look at it
Then see what is and what is not
True? who is that
maybe I never knew how to take
and maybe never realised when
Truth touched Me
I liked the words in this poem; they allowed this reader's thoughts to flow along with the poem itself and catch the meaning within.
Stop it! Stop it! Stop it! Throw away your thesaurus and dictionary and stop using unusual words just because you know them! This practice lessens the quality and definitely the flow of your works.
I like this poem, but I think it much better after the opening stanza.
