Behind blue eyes is compassion
A deep seated need to soothe,
Comfort and heal.
Behind blue eyes is tenderness
The softest word or whisper,
A touch that says it all.
Behind blue eyes is fear
Of becoming who she is,
Or of hurting someone inadvertently.
Behind blue eyes is giving
The shirt off her back,
To clothe a naked stranger.
Behind blue eyes is a joker
Bringing laughter and smiles,
In times of sadness or mediocrity.
Behind blue eyes is a mother
A wealth of knowledge,
And magic kisses that heal all wounds.
Behind blue eyes is an artist
A creator of images,
Through passion and paint.
Behind blue eyes is a woman
Soft and subtle, strong and bold,
Thinking of everyone but herself.
Behind blue eyes is a lover
Understanding, passionate and
So perfect for me it should be criminal.

The one and only person
Who has ever touched the center of my heart.
