A downward spiral
quickly I do spin
my soul is empty
yet so full of sin

My outer flesh provides
merely just a shell
holding my soul hostage
in this living hell

My scars and wounds
not visible on my outer skin
belonging to my soul
which suffers from within

The torture and the torment
I have taken over time
lingering in my soul
loss of peace of mind

As I push the dagger
deep in to my chest
forcing my soul out
my body can now rest

Dark soul

This poem is on the dark side,

and I think your talents lie more with the light.

I hope you are on the uphill slope and continue to write.

The meter falters in this work and the words are well used.

This can happen when a poet is "down" enough not to really care.

"in to" is more commonly "into"

A dark rhymer

I hope things pick up now that you have thrown that poor

soul out. I wish we could 'resoul' like shoes. This poem

is kinda heavy for rhyme but I still get the point.
