Small sepals    little flowers,
                                         larger stamens,
all words that fill My consciousness
what can it be
but deeper swirls of color
as the steps pad slowly inwards

Walk with Me,
whispered the feline to the mouse
smiling benignly
                       and None believed it

Walk with Me,
in splendour
said the angel to the lass,
and All looked on in awe
as the twain went down the steps.

Walk along with Me
said the devil to the ghost
And all laughed.
But then they ascended
slowly merged
the translucency of the wraith
                                           filled the
fiery red of the awesome one

and Look
He hath no fury
as she claimed what was left
took the dregs
conjured up a shell

Little cymbals clangouring,
                                        peals of sound falling
off the crags
and steppes of His form.

Those sounds reverberate
is that the knell
that sounds the toll?
Whose toll?
                 certainly not hers

But what of Them
No one ever thought

Stunning.

Each verse ~ a special little story of its own.

An unexpected way to turn a tale about

Where the devil gets its due in a most unexpected way.

A Razz yet again?

Another one to read and ponder about

with words like "twain" and "clangouring"

to catch your ear and eye.

Another Wonderful Poem

Razz! You have so many of these that search the various aspects of this topic and do it so well--you must have a book by now. Ever think of trying to publish it? :)
