CASTLE OF LOVE
by VelvetPie

There’s a castle in the distance
Tall with might and strength,
It’s stronger than any other fortress
For Love surrounds its length.
A love so strong and burning
It’s a beacon in the night,
Leading me toward you with speed
From outer darkness to inner light.

You are my castle’s fortress
My heart’s protector when
The fear of living life alone
Overwhelms me once again.
Your arms surround me warmly
In one strong, tight embrace,
My fears, they you have conquered
And with loving lips, erased.

The castle’s beacon doth burn
As night melts into day,
I pray each night while at your side
That you’ll never ride away.
You have the richest of fortunes
That no man could ever hold,
For now, my love, my only
You have my heart and soul.
