In our Capital's Congress pits,
There must be some good Congress people.
They've passed through Laws and Benefits,
Although they've had to jump some steeples!

Cause we know most politicians,
Are as crooked as a hump-backed snake!
Even if they have the right conditions,
Most all the laws are bad that they make!

Politicians promise us all,
It's "Our interest" they have in mind!
But we all know that's just a stall,
It's our "votes" they're all wanting to bind!

When it's time for the voting booth,
Just close your eyes and pick with a grin!
Because you'll never hear the truth,
You'll be the "Big loser" in the end!!

Like it is!

I have heard it on good authority that most 'politicians are so crooked they have to screw their shoes on when they get up every morning.'

The Uncle's got their number as your hardly working Congressman tries to buy your vote with promises of goodies galore ~ that you will have to pay for.
