An oxen is a real slowpoke,
He tends to move about slow.
He never gets, in a hurry,
No matter how far he goes.

Some say an oxen is stupid,
Because he's just a "bovine."
But an oxen, knows how to work,
And he'll follow a straight line!

A working ox has just two speeds,
He'll go forward, or stand still.
Some folks think they're out thinking him,
But the ox has HIS OWN will!

An Ox can be, a big critter,
He can sometimes, weigh a ton.
But it's best not to block his way,
When he's got his work day done!!
