Age is cruel the mirror laughs in my face.
There was a time as age of youth if I only knew then
Days vanish, looks tarnish the past is like a warm blanket in the cold.
So my companion my only friend is my memories of days long gone.
Clara Snow with golden hair her laugh filled your heart with bliss.
At night when my parents slept. I would open my window my head all a buzz.
My heart beat out of my chest, life I was living when the sun set down.
She waits for me, by her window listening to Zepplin and Floyd.
We break the green leaves load them and roll. At the time I thought these nights were forever.
Only in my mind. Clara would blush as I gushed. I miss the sound of her voice.
We would talk of T.V. We shared our hopes and dreams and another good roll.
Hold on to these days, time affects us all.
Now, only in my mind do I sneak out to go see Clara Snow.
