A long time ago in Massachusetts,
More than two hundred years at least!
Some superstitious fools ruined Salem Town,
Turning loose a "Religious Beast!"

Just like its always been in History,
With religious nuts and leaders.
They condemned and murdered the "Innocent,"
Just like the "blood-sucking Leechers!"

There is no doubt a religious frenzy,
Has made "Salem Town" wear this brand.
It was stirred by greed for the property,
A means to steal the victim's land!

If anyone wants to take the trouble,
To check out these "Deeds" of the past.
They might find out the victim's property,
Was owned by their accusers, last!!

Touching subject

I actually researched the trials for one of the poems I did for the Inhumanity challenge on the poetry forum.

It was a really sad time and I think you grasped the concept really well.

Good job. ;-)
