Thursday’s child, so far to go,
so little time when life is measured
by the ticking of a cold, uncaring clock
What company to have along the way?
Friend, soulmate, wife.
We’ll journey far, together.
Loved, led, and lit by that travel moon.

Wanton Vixxxenabout 19 years agobriefly, but beautifully, Alex. However, I have two Thursday children Myself and there is another take on "Thursday's child has far to go". I have always believed it to mean there is no limit to attainments in life; that the Thursday child's reach is longer than any of the others born of the week and therefore will leave their marks indelibly - ignoring the ticking of that cold, uncaring clock, but still loved, led and lit by your travel moon.
