Dark eyes shine,
reflecting trees and skies
as they fly by.

Small hands hold on as,
with each kick of her bare legs,
she inches ever higher.

At the apex of her arc
she hangs for a moment,
weightless,
suspended between
Earth’s gravity and
release.

great subject

and the bit you gave us was well written. I love:

Small hands hold on as,

with each kick of her bare legs,

she inches ever higher

But I expected more. You could have made us feel more. You are a good writer but I feel like you stopped befor you got started.
