faded photos
won’t be found in dusty drawers
when I’m no longer around
no negatives shall I leave behind
to whisper hidden ghostly secrets

In silence my fingers will trace
cold figurines not sold at a tag sale
so I’ll leave my screensaver
filled with each happy smile
that he gave me

the one who
rang my bell

I like this. I'm not sure about the ring my bell part. Am I missing something? I do understand about having one's life and love stored as images on a computer. I miss my "real" photo album. Once in awhile I print out my lover and stick him in a frame. :)

Such are...

the photo albums of this technological era. And they take up a lot less room.
