They say you never hear the shot that gets you,
That may be true enough I just don't no.
But I'll argue you can hear a bullet twice,
When you pass one fired at you cause it's too slow!
It's never any fun to get shot at,
But you feel a real pleasure when they miss!
As your feet picks up speed on the same trail,
When you pass that bullet give it a kiss!
If you ever get fired on by some low-life,
"Just turn and run away" is my advice.
"If your feet are working like they oughta,
It's a fact you can hear a bullet twice!!
