the truth is clear now and I realize
the fool I was
thinking you would be with me
but now I see
that will never be
for she has you
yes it will take me awhile
to put out this fire
cause every where I turn
there is a memory of you to burn
but I know I will get over you
if it is the last thing I do
yes the truth hurts
for she has the woman i love
and I can only now dream of
and I half to learn to let go of
and in time I will
my heart will heal
then I will be ready to love again
but the truth still hurts
