First Kiss

Kitchen light yellow dim,
Two souls wait and wonder.

With decaf breath,
And sweet cherry pie lips.

The glance the smile,
It’s now or never.

Two hearts beat quickly,
Two souls are hopeful.

Palms grow sweaty,
Fingers itch.

One’s mind races,
And breath comes quick.

Will love be certain,
Or knife my heart?

The moments now,
Or do I dare?

Feet move so quickly,
It’s now I swear.

Fingers touch,
And flesh is flesh.

The hand moves quickly,
And heart to heart.

Faces touch,
As lips grow close.

The scent, the touch,
The lover’s blush.

Lips and tongue the open mouth,
The room is moving or is the house?

Bodies touch and bodies mold,
Time was right, press tight and hold.

Two hearts are one,
Two souls wait and wonder.

Seize now my love,
It’s now or never.

Beautiful poem...honest and from the heart...wish I was her.
