Effortlessly propelled through the chill
Leaving eddies in your wake
That play with my mind
And draw me closer to the edge.

Back and forth, unhurried,
As if you know I'm watching your
Bronze flesh slick with moisture
And the muscles bunching beneath.

Moving in a rhythm all your own
Down the length and back,
Then under, and out again,
Glistening as droplets fall away.

Then you draw up next to me,
Strong arms bringing you up
Beside me, wetness a teasing trickle
Over my leg as you move.

You lay with me as I watch you breathe,
Then lean down to lap the water from your chest,
Your shoulders, your arms.
The downy hair on your legs has dried.

I sit up again, looking down at you.
When you open your eyes I see how much
You want me to do more,
But I am unsure and draw away.

You reach for me, opening yourself,
Drawing me into the pools of your eyes,
Closer to the sweetness of your lips,
The pulse deep inside throbbing harder

Until our lips touch and our breath merges,
Fanning the flames in my heart,
Weakening the resistance in my mind
Until it breaks - and I belong to you.
