I lay awake again

Thought of you flooding my head

Another dream in which you

Enter my heart and mind once again.

I try so hard during the day

To forget you and what we had

But at night when I close my eyes

I relive and reinvent you again.

Why won't my mind let you go?

Why does my subconscience fight to keep you there?

Why can't your memory fade

And leave my mind.

I have fallen so far

Fallen from you and

I have fallen from all

That I have known.

Once an angel........

Now fallen from grace

What I wouldn't give right now

Just to see the smile on your face.

I miss your touch

I miss your kisses

I miss your laughter

I miss everything about you.

I know the time is late

I know you have moved on

I know now what I have lost

Why couldn't I have just held on?

So each nite I face

Seeing and hearing you once again

Tormented by the thoughts of you

That will never leave my head.
