lost in the forest
away from society
yet close enough for chaos
but not missed at all
i grasp for a limb.
reaching only a leaf
caring hands clasp
as the leave crumbles in spite
naive eyes
watch the forest
act and tease my mind
i grasp for a limb.
the limb pulls back
the forest laughs at my tears
and trees dance while i cry
gullible hands
i grasp for a limb.
the forest disappears
