Fantasy’s better than reality
And I liked you the best
But we fell at the starting gate
We both failed the test

You made my pulse quicken
Put a spring in my step
You made my puss tingle
You gave my life pep

People like us
Shouldn’t do this, it sucks
But we need the illicitness
And we thrive on the fucks

You gave a false name
You covered your tracks
We dared not speak the unspoken
As we lay on our backs

And now you’ve gone silent
Retired to your shell
Refusing to speak
Refusing to tell

And as one door closes
Another bangs shut
As I clutch at the straws
To get out of this rut

Call me bitter and twisted
Call me mad, call me fey
Call me a bad loser,
But just call me, okay?

Top poem from top author

If I was you I would dump the fop and find a proper man. Someone from Somerset for example...

Great humor !!

Those last lines, great stuff!!!

I loved the flow of this write, and the words kept me coming back for more. I feel your pain, and wish you luck. So many have been there, only to be left behind. Great lil write with a moment or two of humor.

Love it ~

Any other ports after a storm?

I’m afraid my name is only Dick.

I’m firm and pointy like a little stick

I’m clean and smooth and well looked after

Perhaps I could call you and prompt a bit of laughter

Bitter sweet indeed

Looks like your pain has fetched out the best in you Lady C. Hope you resolve things or are able to move on in the near future. I LOVED the last verse. Thanks for sharing your feelings in this wonderful way. x
