Pressure building,
Inside and out.
From every where,
There is no hiding.

Work wants one thing,
Family wants another.
Pulling on your strings,
Like a puppet.

Emotions spin,
Round and round.
Like wheel,
Hitting every spot.

Holding strong,
Trying not to
Let anyone see.
The breaking point near.

Anger,
So hateful.
Scared and shaking,
Of what is to come.

Sorrow,
Pain and heartache.
None to love,
None to see.

Standing at the edge,
Looking over the breaking point.
Knowing its to come,
Still testing closer to the edge.

~~

The harder you work

The harder you play;

Demands grow

There is no resolution in this conflict

Until...

Nicely done.
